The investment focus is on crypto assets as well as early-stage holdings in companies and projects in the field of blockchain and distributed ledger technology.
Regulatory status and target group
coinIX Capital GmbH is an external AIF capital management company within the meaning of section 1 (16) in conjunction with section 17 (2) no. 1 KAGB (German Investment Code) and is registered with the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority as a registered capital management company within the meaning of section 2 (4) in conjunction with section 44 KAGB. The registration does not constitute a licence within the meaning of section 20 KAGB. The company is subject to limited ongoing supervision only. BaFin does not exercise product supervision or supervision over the investment funds managed by the company.
The company manages German special AIFs exclusively. The company's offering is directed exclusively at professional and semi-professional investors within the meaning of section 1 (19) nos. 32 and 33 KAGB. There is no distribution to retail investors.
Sustainability information
Scope
coinIX Capital GmbH is a registered capital management company pursuant to section 2 (4) in conjunction with section 44 KAGB and, in its own assessment, does not fall within the scope of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 on sustainability-related disclosures in the financial services sector (SFDR). The following information is provided voluntarily.
No sustainable investment strategy
The company does not pursue an explicitly sustainable investment strategy within the meaning of Articles 8 or 9 SFDR. The economic activities underlying the investments do not take into account the EU criteria for environmentally sustainable economic activities within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2020/852 (Taxonomy Regulation).
Adverse impacts on sustainability factors
Adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors are currently not considered separately, because no reliable, standardised and verifiable ESG data of sufficient quality is available for crypto assets and early-stage blockchain holdings. The company will review this assessment as soon as data availability and market standards in this area improve materially.
